Gabrovo Now Has an Interactive 3D Tool for Energy Planning

Our team developed a web-based 3D calculator for a pilot area in the city of Gabrovo. The platform visualizes buildings in an interactive 3D environment and enables users to test different scenarios related to energy efficiency, photovoltaic potential, costs, and CO₂ emission reductions.

When opening the platform, users can directly explore the 3D model of the pilot area in Gabrovo, select a specific building, and see how different renovation measures could affect energy consumption, costs, photovoltaic potential, and CO₂ emissions.

The solution integrates cadastral, orthophoto, municipal, and open geospatial data into an accessible tool for analysis and decision-making. The project supports municipal planning, public communication, and the preparation of future energy-transition measures at both building and district level.
