GeoNode

GeoNode is a web-based platform for developing geospatial information systems (GIS) and deploying spatial data infrastructures (SDI). The data management tools built into GeoNode enable the integrated creation of data, metadata, and map visualizations. In addition, the platform is flexible and allows it to be expanded or modified as needed to meet the specific requirements of users.
Experience: We have implemented projects of various sizes – for organizations at the regional level (Basin Directorates, Rila National Park), to international portals (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, and Belarus), and global geoportals (at the UN level for more than 120 countries on 5 continents). We implement Geonode on the customers’ own infrastructure, both cloud-based (Amazon EC, Leaseweb) or on the platform-as-a-service model on a subscription basis.
We contribute to the development of the software through testing, translation into Bulgarian of the interface, documentation, and promotion.
